Terms of Service
These Terms of Service govern your use of the Hearts & Ladders app (the "App"), developed by Livales ("we", "us"). By using the App, including as a guest, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
1. Age and eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use the App. Some content, especially in the Rumah Kita (married couples) mode, is intended for adult couples only.
2. Accounts
- You are responsible for keeping your account and password confidential.
- The information you provide must be accurate, and you must not impersonate anyone else.
- An account can only be linked to one partner account at a time.
- You can use the App as a guest without an email address. Guest data is only kept for that device: if the App is uninstalled or its data is cleared before the account is saved with an email or Google, that data cannot be recovered. Linking a partner and making purchases require an account.
3. Nature of the App
- The App is a game for entertainment and for growing closer as a couple. It is not a counselling, therapy, or professional advice service. If your relationship is facing serious problems, consider reaching out to a professional.
- Every challenge is voluntary. You and your partner are free to skip any challenge that feels uncomfortable. Respect your partner's boundaries and consent at all times.
- Do not do any challenge that puts you or others in danger, breaks the law, or is done while driving.
4. Content you create
Your answers, photos, and custom challenges remain yours. You give us a limited permission to store and show that content to you and your partner, solely to run the App's features.
You must not upload or create content that:
- Breaks the law of Indonesia or of the country where you live.
- Involves minors in any inappropriate way.
- Shows other people without their consent.
- Contains harassment, threats, or violence.
- Infringes anyone else's intellectual property rights.
5. Love Points
Love Points are virtual points inside the game. Love Points have no monetary value, cannot be cashed out, and cannot be transferred to another account. We may change how Love Points are earned and used.
6. Purchases and subscriptions
- All purchases are processed through Google Play or the Apple App Store and are subject to that store's terms.
- Premium subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the current period ends.
- You can cancel your subscription at any time in the subscription settings of Google Play or the App Store. Deleting the App does not cancel your subscription.
- Challenge packs are sold separately and are not included in the premium subscription.
- Refunds follow the Google Play or App Store refund policy.
- The price that applies is the price shown in the store at the time of purchase, and it may change at any time.
7. Intellectual property
The App, including its design, game board, challenge collections, and cards, belongs to Livales and is protected by law. You may not copy, redistribute, or sell any part of the App without our written permission.
8. Termination
You can stop using the App and request deletion of your account at any time through the Delete Account page. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms.
9. Disclaimer
The App is provided "as is". We work to keep it running well, but we do not guarantee that it will always be free of interruptions or errors. Features that need an internet connection may be affected when the network is unstable.
10. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Livales is not liable for indirect losses arising from use of the App, including as a result of challenges you choose to do. Our total liability does not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the last 12 months. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that cannot be waived.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia. Any dispute will first be resolved through good-faith discussion.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. For important changes, we will notify you in the App. By continuing to use the App after a change takes effect, you are deemed to accept the new terms.
